The new MTS 834.100 High-force Elastomer Test System is a robust, uniaxial servohydraulic load frame engineered to test materials, suspension components and engine mounts typically used in heavy vehicles such as trucks, construction, forestry and agricultural equipment; as well as elastomeric materials and components for railway cars and tracks.
The system employs versatile FlexTest® controller technology, which features a new patent-pending high-frequency displacement measurement algorithm that enables the system to apply up to 100kN of force at frequencies up to 300Hz with unmatched levels of precision. Full-featured MTS Elastomer Testing Software enables the system to fulfill a wide range of test application requirements, including durability, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), static deflection, and potentially NVH (Noise Vibration & Harshness).
