MTS Model 809 axial/torsional testing systems feature extremely stiff, high-natural-frequency load frames with integral axial and torsional actuators. They are dynamically rated for optimum performance during static and fatigue applications. They are also highly resistive to side loads and deflections, which ensures precise alignment during testing. Widely spaced cam follower bearings and a stiff substructure minimize backlash and mechanical crosstalk, and a patented axial/torsional coupler maintains proper concentric and angular alignment.
To ensure you have everything required to determine accurate characteristics of a broad range of test specimens, Model 809 systems also integrate state-of-the-art MTS servohydraulics, FlexTest® digital controls, powerful application software and a host of accessory options.
