Evolving electric vehicle designs are broadening the parameters for characterizing steering and turning dynamics. MTS' new K&C platform steer assembly is engineered to address these and other emerging industry requirements.
Ford Boone - Senior Product Manager introduces MTS’ new K&C Platform Steer Input Assembly, examining its capability to provide the improved aligning torque control, and larger steering torque and angle needed for characterizing fast-evolving electric vehicle designs; as well as safe limited speed control to ensure K&C system compliance with international machinery directives.
The enhanced Platform Steer Input Assembly is now standard on all new MTS K&C systems, and readily available as an upgrade for existing systems in the field.
